We all experience seasons of internal autumn, when life asks us to grieve, release, and discern what matters most.

Who This Is For

This journey may be for you if you:

  • Know a season of your life has ended, but some part of you is still holding onto who you were, what you had, or what you thought would happen
  • Are carrying the emotional weight of a loss, ending, or life change, whether it has happened or you know it's coming
  • Absorb what others are feeling, carry what isn't yours, or struggle to maintain a clear sense of yourself in connection with others
  • Notice that past experiences continue to shape how your body responds, even after you've processed and mentally made sense of what happened
  • Recognize that the ways you've learned to protect yourself may no longer be serving you
  • Experience recurring respiratory, sinus, skin, allergy, or immune system concerns and are curious about exploring them through an energetic lens

Grief isn't only what happens when someone dies.

We grieve health. Dreams. Relationships. Careers. Places. Possibilities. Versions of ourselves.

We grieve anything we have loved, lost, outgrown, or imagined would be different.

And sometimes, what we call being stuck is simply a part of us still holding onto something that has already changed.

The work isn't to force ourselves to let go. It's to understand what we're holding, honor why we've held it, and cultivate the courage to be present for what life is offering us now.

The BREATHE Framework

Over 8 weeks, we'll explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the Lung and Large Intestine systems through teaching, meditation, and movement.

B
Week 1

Boundaries

Sense where you end and others begin.

Learn how the Lung system relates to protection and Wei Qi, often described as the body's defensive energy. Explore what is yours and what isn't, where your boundaries become porous or rigid, and how to protect your energy without closing yourself off from life.

R
Week 2

Relate

Honor the rhythm of attachment and release.

We are designed to attach. Explore how attachment creates safety and connection, how fear of loss can lead us to grip or withdraw, and how to cultivate the capacity to hold on or let go with wisdom, rather than fear.

E
Week 3

Experience

Listen to what your body remembers.

Meet the Po, the corporeal soul associated with the Lungs, and explore how past experiences can continue to live through physical sensations and automatic responses. Learn to listen to what your body is communicating beyond what your mind has already understood.

A
Week 4

Allow

Make space for grief without trying to fix it.

Sit with grief, loss, acceptance, and impermanence. Practice allowing difficult emotions to move through you without suppressing, intellectualizing, or immediately trying to make meaning from them.

T
Week 5

Treasure

Discern what is worth carrying forward.

Inspired by the harvest season, clarify what you value and distill what matters most. Explore how the Large Intestine teaches us to let go of what no longer nourishes us, making room for what is truly valuable, including your own worth.

H
Week 6

Heaven

Discover the spiritual dimension of the Lungs.

Contemplate the paradox between the Po's instinct to hold onto physical life and our capacity to surrender to something greater. Consider what it means to remain connected to love and meaning even as physical forms change.

E
Week 7

Engage

Cultivate the courage to open again.

Practice opening yourself to life after loss, change, or pain. Choose connection and healthy attachment despite impermanence, and move forward in alignment with what you now know matters.

+
Week 8

Integrate

Bring it all together.

Integrate what you've learned and embodied through a shared creative expression. Reflect on this season of internal autumn, recognizing what you are choosing to hold and what you are ready to let go of.

By the End of These 8 Weeks

You will have:

  • Practical energetic tools to feel and move through difficult emotions without immediately suppressing, fixing, or intellectualizing them
  • Strong and clear energetic boundaries while remaining open to connection
  • Greater awareness of what your body may be protecting
  • A deeper meditation and Qigong practice to support you through everyday life
  • Greater capacity to meet loss and life transitions with acceptance and courage
  • An understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoist teachings related to the Lungs and Large Intestine

To feel deeply, let go with greater ease, and remain open to life through change.

It’s time to breathe again.

Why I Created This Program

Grief taught me how I want to live.

With purpose. With integrity. With courage.

My relationship with loss began long before I had language for it.

At ten years old, I received a liver transplant.

My life continued because another child’s life ended.

For much of my life, I understood that reality intellectually. But there are some experiences the intellect cannot fully metabolize.

The body remembers. And grief has its own timeline.

Over the years, through my own healing and nearly ten years studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoist practices, I’ve developed a very different relationship with grief.

I’ve learned that grief meets us in unexpected ways. It can hide in our body for years before we even know it’s there. And moving through grief isn’t simply about letting go.

It’s about learning how to be with what we feel. How to honor what mattered. How to recognize what we’re still holding. How to release what has been completed. And ultimately, how to keep opening ourselves to the life that’s here.

The Alchemy of Grief & Courage grew from that understanding.

I created this program to bring together the teachings and practices that have shaped my own healing with the work I now guide others through.

To make space for grief in all its forms.

Because grief has taught me that opening ourselves to loss and opening ourselves to life are not separate practices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to attend the sessions live?

No. All live sessions will be recorded and available for replay. While attending live allows you to experience the energy of the group, ask questions, and receive support in real time, you can absolutely move through the program at your own pace if the live times don’t work for you.

Do I need to be actively grieving a loss to join?

No. Grief takes many forms and isn’t limited to the death of a loved one. You may be navigating a transition, letting go of an old identity or relationship, anticipating a loss, or simply recognizing that you’re holding onto something that has already changed.

Do I need any experience with Qigong, meditation, or Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Not at all. The teachings and practices are designed to be accessible whether this is your first experience with this work or you’ve been exploring meditation, energy work, or Traditional Chinese Medicine for years.

What if difficult emotions come up during the program?

This work is designed to create space for emotions rather than force them to move before you’re ready. You’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace, listen to your body, and engage with the practices in a way that feels appropriate for you. You’ll also have the support of the live group container throughout the eight weeks.

How much time should I expect to spend on the program each week?

You’ll have two live sessions each week, along with optional meditations, Qigong practices, and reflection prompts to explore between calls. There is no expectation that you complete everything. The practices are there to support your process, not become another thing you have to accomplish.

How long will I have access to the replays and materials?

You’ll have lifetime access to all program materials, including session replays, guided meditations, Qigong practices, and module resources, so you can return to the teachings and practices whenever you need them.

Is this therapy?

No. The Alchemy of Grief & Courage is an educational and experiential program rooted in Organ Energetics. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or a replacement for medical or mental health care.

The season is changing.

Will you change with it?

Yes, I’m In
